Chessboard

First, I created a base for the chess pieces with a cylinder polygon, then made the body of the chess piece with the CV curve tool. For the head I imported my Egghead from a previous project and set it atop the piece. After duplicating and rendering the models, there were two rows positioned evenly facing an opposite two rows of similar arangement. I then made various polygons to place on/around the chess pieces as an indication of the type of piece (King, Queen, Bishop, ect.) As soon as that was done, I made a nurbs surface and textured it for a chessboard, then set it on a generic floor/wall backround made from another nurbs surface and a comically tall/wide cube.
